MOAI in Space and Time

Moai , was born in Lisbon, in 1980. Always connected to artistic experimentation, he studied various intruments and participated in countless projects, both live and in studio, ranging from Jazz, Trip-hop, Ambient, Techno and lounge until the more experimental sides of Electronic music,he went through various countries and allowing himself to be influenced and absorb musical traditions from all those different places.

The Quest for the balance between Body, Mind and Soul is a presence that makes us feel awake.

Moai is rythm from the heart, melody from the brain and harmony from the soul, on the latest works we can listen to an ethereal fusion between different instruments such as Analog sythetizers, traditional and experimental instruments, sampling and vocals.
